You will be provided with further information and instructions regarding your service. Servicing usually takes 5-7 days depending on factors such as how many lifejackets, remedial work required, how the lifejackets were sent. However, it is not guaranteed you will get your lifejacket(s) back within that timeframe.
The cost of a lifejacket service is £15.60 (inc VAT) per lifejacket - which covers the testing alone. If your lifejacket(s) have failed testing, it will incur a handling/labour/report fee of £3.60 (inc VAT) per lifejacket. You will be contacted with details as to what factors have lead to a failed test result and a revised fee for necessary repairs. These repairs will only be commenced once you have agreed to the additional payments.
If your lifejacket(s) have failed testing, you can request to have the jacket returned or disposed of.
