Seajet 015 Acrylic Underwater Primer - 2.5L | SJ-255VR0043-2

The Seajet 015 Underwater Primer is recommended as a binder coat for old antifouling and primer for new antifouling due to being based on a special acrylic resin, which allows it to work as an excellent sealer and barrier coat over over any unknown, incompatible and Teflon based antifouling. This primer is quick drying and adheres well to the existing surface and further coats, giving a good sea water resistance.

How do I prepare a surface for the Seajet 015 Acrylic Underwater Primer?

Existing Antifouling

  1. Roughen the surface with 100-120 grade abrasive paper (wet sanding).
  2. Remove dust & dry.

Bare Fibreglass & Wood

  1. Degrease the surface.
  2. Abrade with 100-120 grade abrasive paper.
  3. Clean with Thinner E to remove all contamination from the surface.
