Heavy Tug High-Efficiency Dual-Cone Drogue | HT24L

Deployed from the stern, this drogue will restrain the vessel's forward speed, allowing waves to pass beneath and preventing surfing and broaching-to. It will slow and stabilise the course of a vessel, for example to avoid broaching in a storm, reduce drifting, during a long tow, as emergency steering or to reduce rolling at anchor.

The dual-cone design increases the sea brake efficiency as the sea strength increases. Available in three sizes to suit boats up to 10.5m, 16.5m and 22.5m.

Made from heavy-duty reinforced fabric, in a storage bag with user instructions. Ropes and/or chains required for rigging not included.
