The Hempel Mille NCT Pro is a high performance antifouling with self-polishing capabilities and features Hempel's patented binder technology which ensures outstanding fouling protection and colour retention.

The Hempel Mille NCT Pro Antifoul provides excellent performance for a whole season thanks to having superior crack resistance. Do not use on aluminium or other light-alloy metals, as there is a risk of corrosion in case of direct contact.

What do I need to do before I use the Hempel Mille NCT Pro Antifouling Paint?

Remove oil, grease and other contaminants with a suitable cleaning detergent and/or use Hempel's Pre-Clean.

New build - Uncoated surface

Prime the prepared surface with Hempel's Light Primer and apply a tiecoat of Hempel's Underwater Primer whilst the surface is still tacky.

New build - Coated surface

Prime the perpared surface with Hempel's Premium Primer and then apply one coat of Hempel's Pro Tiecoat.

Existing build

Remove the loose matter and contaminants by high pressure fresh water washing, if needed abrade and remove dust. If the previous antifouling is in bad condition, then seal with one coat of Hempel's Underwater Primer or Hempel's Pro Tiecoat.

If you're applying with an airless spray, then it is recommended to apply 1 coat at 80 micron dry film thickness. If you're applying with an air spray, brush or roller, then it is recommended to apply 2 coats of Mille NCT Pro at 40 micron dry film thickness each.
