Whale Aquasource Clear Water Filter

The Whale Aquasource Clear Water Filter is a silverised carbon filter for use in boats and caravans which helps to improved the quality and the freshness of the water for drinking. This water filter removes bad tastes and odours with ease, without requiring maintenance. Although the silverised carbon filter inhibits bacteria growth, it is not a bacterial filter.

The Whale Aquasource Clear Water Filter is designed to be easy to install to ensure anyone can install it. The AquaSource filter features a slim and compact design which can be mounted either horizontally or vertically to make sure it can fit into even the smallest space.

How do I install the Whale AquaSource Clear Filter?

  1. Select a location for the filter & cut the hose/ pipe to the appropriate size.
  2. Take end caps off filter & push one end into each connector, taking care that the water will flow in the direction of the arrow.
  3. If you wish to fix the filter to the wall, use the mounting clips & screws provided.
  4. When the filter is installed, allow water to run through it for at least 30 seconds to push out any black loose particle until water runs clear.
  5. Write the date of installation in the space provided to enable you to remember when to change it.
  6. Your filter is now ready for use.

How do I replace the Whale AquaSource Clear Filter?

  1. The filter replacement must be carried out under hygienic conditions.
  2. As the flushing out process of a new filter can use a lot of water, it is recommended that the filter is flushed clean of any black loose particles (shaking the filter from time to time to agitate the contents within the filter), at a domestic fresh water tap before installing. Approx. 10 mins under a flowing tap.
  3. Once this has been achieved, fully drain down the water system & turn off the pump at the isolation switch.
  4. Disconnect the old filter from the system, either by disconnecting the Quick Connect fittings, or alternatively remove jubilee clips if fitted.
  5. install the new Aquasource Clear water filter, making sure all the connection fittings are tightly secured. Check direction flow arrow when installing.
  6. Turn on the pump & recharge the water system.
